BSCI Down Under 2026

Today the group went out to Piha Beach, but I decided to stay back. As much as I wanted to go, I knew I needed the time to catch up on my thesis before my dad and I head out for our trip during the free days.

It ended up being a really productive day. I got a solid chunk of work done and finally made progress on a few sections I had been putting off. Sometimes it is tough to stay in when everyone else is out doing something cool, but I knew future me would be thankful for it.

It was also kind of nice to have a quieter day to reset. After being on the go so much, having a few uninterrupted hours to focus actually felt good. Now I can go into the next part of the trip feeling way less stressed and actually enjoy it.
