Day 62(3/16/2026)

Today we took the train down to Wollongong, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable day. The train ride itself was great, with some awesome views along the way, especially as we got closer to the coast. It was cool to see a different side of the area outside of Sydney and experience a more laid back coastal city.

Once we got there, we did a walking tour around the city, which helped give a better sense of the layout and some of the local history. After that, we grabbed lunch and had some time to just relax and hang out. We also spent some time on the beach, which was a great way to slow things down and take in the scenery. The coastline there is really nice, and it was a perfect break from the busier pace of the city.

After heading back, I spent the rest of the day working on my thesis and trying to make some solid progress. It ended up being a really good balance between getting out and exploring somewhere new and staying on track with schoolwork.
