Day 60 (3/14/2026)

Today we took the train out to the Blue Mountains, and it ended up being a really cool experience. The trip out there alone was nice, getting to see more of the landscape outside the city and how quickly things change once you leave Sydney.

Once we got there, the views were incredible. It honestly reminded me a lot of the Grand Canyon, but instead of open desert, everything was covered in trees. The scale of it was what stood out the most. You could look out over the valleys and cliffs and just see how far everything stretched. It was one of those places that is hard to fully capture in pictures because it feels so much bigger in person.

It was also a nice change of pace from the city. Everything felt quieter and more relaxed, which made it easy to just take in the views and enjoy being out there. Overall, it was a great day and a really unique experience that added something different to the trip.
