Today we went to Mount Coot-tha, which gave us an awesome overview of the city of Brisbane. From the top you can see the entire skyline, the river winding through the city, and a lot of the surrounding area. It was a really cool perspective because it helped put into context a lot of the places we’ve been visiting around the city. The view was incredible, and it was definitely one of the best spots we’ve seen for taking in the whole city at once.
While we were up there, we had breakfast at the café at the top of the mountain. It was a great meal and a really nice way to start the day. Sitting there with a view over the entire city made it feel like a pretty unique breakfast spot. It was a relaxed way to spend the morning before heading back into the city.
After that, we took the afternoon to work on our thesis projects. It was another good opportunity to focus and get some work done. With the trip getting closer to the end, it’s been important to stay on top of everything so we’re not scrambling later. Overall it was a really nice balance between getting out and seeing one of the best viewpoints in Brisbane and then spending some time being productive later in the day.
