Today we spent the morning working on our thesis projects. It was a good chance to make some more progress and stay on track with everything we need to finish before the trip ends. Having a few hours to focus made it feel like we were actually getting ahead instead of just trying to keep up.
Later in the evening, we went on a river cruise through Brisbane. It was a really cool experience and a great way to see the city from a different perspective. As the boat moved along the river, we got to see a lot of the skyline and different parts of the city that you don’t really notice when you’re just walking around.
Seeing Brisbane at night from the water was especially beautiful. The city lights reflecting off the river made for some great views, and it was a really relaxing way to spend the evening. Overall it was a great balance between getting work done during the day and taking some time to enjoy the city at night.
