Today was a pretty chill day overall. We spent most of the day working on our thesis projects, which was actually really productive. It felt good to sit down for a while and focus, especially since the past few days have been pretty busy with traveling and visiting different sites. Being able to slow down a little bit and make real progress on the thesis was a nice change of pace.
Later in the day, we decided to try a spicy burger challenge that a local place was offering. The idea was simple: finish the burger and you get a free t-shirt. It sounded intimidating at first because they really hyped up how spicy it was supposed to be, but honestly it ended up being pretty easy. It definitely had some heat, but nothing too crazy. Most of us finished it without too much trouble, and the best part was walking away with a free t-shirt afterward.
Overall it was a pretty relaxed day compared to some of the others on the trip. It was nice to balance getting work done with doing something fun, and the spicy burger challenge ended up being a good story to add to the trip.
