Today was a pretty laid back but interesting day. In the morning, we went on a tour of the Chelsea Sugar Factory, which was actually a lot cooler than I expected. It was interesting to see how something as simple as sugar goes through such a detailed process before it ends up on shelves. The scale of the operation and the amount of coordination involved definitely stood out.
After that, most of the day was spent working on thesis. We made some solid progress, and it felt good to have a full day to sit down and focus without a ton of distractions.
Later that night, I went for a walk along the wharf. It was a really nice way to end the day. The water was calm, the city was lit up, and it was just a good chance to relax and clear my head a bit before heading back.
