Today was a really solid day that mixed learning with some fun later on. We took Ubers out to a steel prefabrication company called Tube Tech in the town of Campbellfield, and it was honestly really interesting to see how the manufacturing side of prefabrication works. Getting to watch the process in action, from fabrication to assembly, gave us a much better understanding of how much coordination and precision goes into it. It also made it clear how much potential this field has and why prefabrication is becoming such a big part of the future of construction.
Later that day, everyone on the trip got together and went bowling. It was a great way to relax after the site visit and just enjoy some time together outside of an academic setting.
