BSCI Down Under 2026

We have had a very busy 3 days, so I haven’t had a chance to update my blog. On the 9th we had time in the morning to work on our thesis. After that, we went on a walking tour to the Sydney Opera House. It was incredible, and absolutely worth the walk. After that, we walked through the botanical gardens. It was really interesting to see the different plants and trees that they have here, vs what we are used to in the US. We finished the day by eating dinner at the restaurant below the opera house.

The next day, we took a ferry ride to a suburb called Parramatta. It was a really cool ride, and suprisingly cheap for how long of a ride it was. Parramatta was interesting, because even though it is a suburb of Sydney, it is still a very developed area with a bunch of high-rises. We had lunch and watched the Oregon-Indiana game there before taking a train home. Later in the day, we took a trip to Shell Beach over by Manlay. The water was super clear, and surprisingly cold.

On the 11th, we took the day to relax and work on thesis, since it rained all day.
